I want you to know that I get it. And getting it and knowing how to navigate those fitness pitfalls is what makes me different than other trainers, or trying to go at it alone. We can do this. Together.

Let's Mix Things Up

What works for your friend, co-worker, or that Instagram model may not work for you. In other words, don’t beat yourself up if you don't love Zumba. Or if the idea of hot yoga makes you lightheaded. Or if a 30-day burpee challenge is completely off the table. We’ll talk about what you like to do, what injuries you may have, what's kept you from success in the past, and what you want for your future.

And then we'll get it done.

I've got an approach to fitness that pulls from my personal experience as an experienced trainer, a woman, a mother, and a survivor. In 2007, the day after I moved to Austin to start my fitness career, I was in a severe auto accident that left me with limited mobility, traumatic brain injury, and a body I no longer understood. Here's the least scary photo from that time, about a week after the accident:

I know what it's like to hurt. To be afraid. And to make excuses for avoiding the hard stuff. But I also made it through, and I understand and love my body more than ever. And I did it by myself, which means I learned a lot, but it also took a hell of a lot longer than it needed to. So no matter what you're dealing with, I can help you understand and love your body, too. And in an efficient way that makes the most of your time and effort.

And as a bonus, working with hundreds of women for the last decade combined with my spidey sense means that I have coaching super powers (seriously) and I am uniquely skilled at zeroing in on what my clients need and giving step-by-step, meaningful prompts to finally get the problems fixed.

I think it's time you joined me.
It won't be scary (my face is mostly normal now, though I can't really move my left eyebrow.)

or At Least Frenemies

  • I don’t expect you to run a marathon unless, well, your goal is to run a marathon.
  • We’ll take it one step a time. But that doesn’t mean I won’t push you.
  • We’ll talk about your triggers or pain points, what's worked, what hasn't and why.
  • If you have existing injuries, we'll work around them or work on them, as needed.
  • We’ll create your plan. Stick to it. And get results. So, GET STARTED already!
